I used to describe myself apologetically as a “jack of all trades, master of none.”

I thought that meant that I was decent at many things but not exceptional enough at any one thing to be easily defined, recognized, or understood.

But, these days, I have pride in my diversity.

My work has never lived in only one form. It has shown up as music, writing, design, storytelling, humor, survival, reinvention, and self-expression. Each piece is part of the same pursuit: becoming more honest and wholly myself.

Finding integrity in my own identity has been the hardest thing I’ve ever done. It is not something I claim to have completed. It is something I keep choosing.

And I know this for sure: No one does me better than me.
